Identity & Website Design
Client: Brighton Photo
We worked with wedding photographer Heather Shuker to develop her overall branding which, as well as a logotype, included a series of line illustrations. These were then produced as stickers and stamps for use across all marketing material. We also developed the website and blog as well as a set of stationery items.
We were asked to produce an identity that reflected the personality and spirit of the photographer. Rather than the standard wedding photography, Brighton Photo produce fun, quirky, surprising images unique to the people involved to make a truly memorable experience.
What We Did
The logotype is based on a retro typewriter feel (which was also produced as a stamp to highlight the effect) which sits alongside a set of illustrations to continue the home-made feel of the identity. These illustrations were used across the different applications individually as well as a repeat pattern on stationery items.
How it Turned Out
The new brand was very successful in projecting BP correctly and uniquely in what is becoming a competitive area. They are kept busy with commissions from Brighton to Timbuktu (as they say), documenting every last little detail to create a story of the entire day.
